SBI Clerk Main Exam Result 2018 Expected Date, Marks

SBI clerk result of Prelims Examination

SBI clerk Mains exam is the second step of the SBI Clerk Selection process. The mains examination of SBI clerk covers the 5 main subject category sections that are Reasoning, English Language, Quantitative Aptitude, General Awareness and Computer knowledge. The maximum marks for this examination are 200.

The candidate needs to qualify the minimum sectional cut off marks which are decided by SBI in each subject. Further, the candidate needs to secure overall cutoff marks in SBI clerk Main Exam. The Sectional Cutoff and Overall cutoff marks for this test vary according to the category of the candidate.

The categories of the candidates are General, OBC, SC, ST etc. The maximum marks in reasoning and computer aptitude are 60, English Language 40, Quantitative Aptitude -50 and the General Awareness will be 50.

2. Enter your roll number and date of birth or you can enter your registration number and date of birth.
3. You need to enter string which is shown on the screen and press the submit button
4. Your result will be on the screen.
5. Take a print of your marks and save the same into your device.

Selection Procedure of SBI Clerk

The selection process for the candidates who want to appear in the SBI clerk examination. The process of selection is divided two phases first is prelims and another is mains. The selection procedure for selection is mentioned below.

Preliminary Examination

After filling the application form and fulfillment of the eligibility criteria prescribed by the bank will appear for the first stage of SBI Clerk selection procedure which is the preliminary exam. The exam is objective and has 100 multiple choice questions the subjects covered in this exam are English language, Reasoning Ability and Numeric ability. The time duration of this pre-exam is 60 minutes. The cut-off marks are decided by the Bank and the candidate need to score qualifying marks in each section.

Mains Examination

The candidate who qualifies the Pre-examination will be eligible to appear in the mains examination. The main examination is held online basis and the total number of multiple choice questions will be 190. The Mains exam divided into four sections General Awareness, English Language, Quantitative Aptitude and Reasoning Ability & Computer Aptitude.

The total marks for Mains exam is 200 and the total time duration is 2 hours and 40 minutes.
Note: According to the selection procedure of SBI Clerk 2018 the Pre and Mains both exams will be bilingual except the General English examination.

Test of knowledge of official/local language in SBI clerk

After qualifying the mains the candidate needs to produce 10th class mark sheet which is the proof that candidate has studied the official/local language.  In this case, the candidate need not appear for the language test. If the candidate is unable to produce the documents he/she need to qualify the test before the final selection.

The final merit list will be prepared by the SBI. Marks obtained by the candidate in the preliminary exam will not be considered as it is qualifying in nature and the merit list will be based on candidate’s scores on the main exam.
