Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) Exam is an Indian Entrance examination for teachers. The candidate who wants to become a teacher job in government school from class 1 to 8. The paper 1 is the test for candidates who opted for class 1 to 5. And paper 2 for class 6 to 8.

The candidate who scores 60% or above in the TET exam will be considered as TET pass. The School managements which belong to Government, government aided/ unaided and local bodies are considered giving concessions to persons who belong to SC/ST, OBC as per the rules.

3. The relaxation in the eligibility for appearing in this exam may be relaxed of a State/UT applicable relaxation under sub-section (2) of section 23 of the RTE Act. The relaxation will be specified in the Notification issued by Central Government under that sub-section.

What is the Selection Procedure?
After the declaration of results, the merit list of selected candidates is prepared by the respective authority. The candidates have entered in the process of document verification.
